“Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle.”
- What is this movie about?
In a small town a girl is employed to take care of a recently-paralized man. At first he doesn’t want her near him. but she is not someone who easily gives up…
- Why should you watch it?
Mother of Dragons! Yes, it is Khaleesi (without the blonde wig) and there is also Finnick Odair from The Hunger games and also Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter Saga (although many might not recognize him!). A bunch of great british actors from different literally phenomenons all together.
So, the story is based on a book, of course not everything that is in the book made into the movie (same old story, always) but what makes into the movie is more than fine for the whole story to have consistency. Personally I haven’t read the book and after watching the movie i don’t have any interest in that because only with the movie I feel more than satisfied. But if you need more details, go for it!
As for the cast, they do not do a bad job, quiet the contrary. But of course if you are a Game of Thrones fan it would take you some minutes to get used to watch Emilia playing another role that is not the Mother of Dragons, which doesn’t mean that she is not good in it, because she is; although at some point you might feel that she is overacting but that makes it more adorable for the character that she is playing (and you cannot stop laughing at some point). On the other hand we have Sam, who has us more used to this kind of movies, and as always he is good in it. Lastly, there is Matthew, old Neville, playing a secondary character but every single time that he is on the screen he takes a laugh out of you!
If you like cheesy romances, don’t be mistaken, this is not the typical American cheesy movie. This is a British movie (which is based on a book, remember!). So the style is different, in a good way, and yes, it’s a dramatic comedy with hints of romance, so enjoy it cause it is worth your time.
